Brundtland and Berge were schoolmates in their hometown of Tromsø, experimenting with electronic instruments in the early 90s. However, the duo did not appear as Röyksopp until years later when they met again in Bergen. The city was a vital scene for underground electronic music at this time, and the band worked with other Norwegian musicians such as Frost, Kings of Convenience’s guitarist/singer Erlend Øye, Those Norwegians and Drum Island in what was called the Bergen Wave.

As a former smoker, there is a time when you just want to quit smoking for your own good. its hard tho, to quit smoking one random day, its really a difficult thing. Advertisers are always looking for different angles to send messages to smokers, hard yeah but thru. This is a really good example of how below the line can get people´s attention.

Purpose: to take care of their teeth, specially kids after eating some type of sweet or candy.
The strategy: Giving away ice cream and candies in the streets with a hidden messages. After the kids are done , the stick comes with a messsage "dont forget"
Cool strategy with a unique purpose for kids.

As any business there is a lot of challenges day by day. In advertising there are certain products or services which are more difficult to develop ideas. This is a perfect example , A dance academy in a country that dont dance. How would you do it? SEE WHERE IT TAKES YOU

MGMT was called by Hugh Hefner. Why? Well aparently they are going to be part of this new campaign call Rock the Rabbit for the magazine’s annual sex and music edition.
Playboy launched Rock the Rabbit in 2007, each year handpicking a group of musicians (both up-and-comers and legends) to take a stab at redesigning the infamous and iconic bunny-eared logo. They get to offer up any sort of artistic interpretation of the bunny they’d like, and the artwork is featured on limited edition tee shirts, which you can buy here. A portion of the proceeds go to charity.

In order to communicate a health program to work out your body. The advertising agency used several superheroes and transform them into fat people. This means that even the superheores can get fat if they dont work out. Excellent use of the characters, not an innovative idea tho.

Excellent strategy to highlight the functional benefits of the product. In the streets of Thailand there was developed this strategy. One of the best ambient i´ve ever seen!

I love condom advertising! One of the best products to make good ideas. Trojan specially, have given so many good ideas to this industry. Since the campaign of the last year "PIGS" i though it was a really clever idea to communicate.
Anyway im showing you the follow up , this prints are under the umbrella of "pigs"
Of you take a good look of it, you will see there is some controversial type of advertising. I hope you like them.

Eveything is rumoring about the crisis, how difficult is becoming for advertisers to make a good commercial. You have here a good idea, a one sec ad!
Very straight forward and something differente

It must be called as Suprise Marketing. This type of strategies are the most efficient, the ones who take by surprise the consumers, they don really see them coming. Your impact is deeper and the remembering of the brand sticks longer. This outdoor was made in the streets of london, i hope you like it.

In this times of crisis were innovation is a must, one ad agency in Kansas City made an ambient in pro of reading. The strategy was allocated outside of libraries in order to push consumers to read. Just to mention, some of the titles of the strategy are Farenheit 54, Lord of the rings and Romeo and juliett.

Das Pop is a Belgian band founded in Ghent by schoolfriends Reinhard Vanbergen, Niek Meul, Lieven Moors and Bent Van Looy.
They were initially called "Things to come", but changed their name to Das Pop as Tom Kestens joined the band. Tom Kestens and Lieven Moors later left the band, and in 2007 New Zealander Matt Eccles joined the band as the new drummer. In January 2008 Das Pop released "Fool For Love" on UK independent label Prestel Records. The release featured remixes from French DJ SebastiAn and Yuksek, which the Culture section of UK newspaper The Sunday Times said "the momumental new single from the Belgian electro band". Shortly after Eccles joined the band Das Pop played a showcase at Manchester's In The City music industry conference and were then signed by Sony BMG imprint Ugly Truth Records.
