Im going to be completly honest with you guys, i didnt like the band called The Horrors in their first album,you know these super skinny guys with the look of robert smith in the twenty century. But this new single , since the moment i first heard it , i say this is the shit, super dark as hell with a pshycodelic touch that you cant avoid. The single is call sea within the sea and i very very like it!!!!!
If you take a good look to the video and the song it will pop up some names in your mind , for example Joy Division, The cure and Velvet Underground



Not so many times we see an advertising strategy for software. The hard part is to make a concept online into an offline. This case is particulary unique, the execution is just brilliant , so many people expose to the strategy.
I have only one question , i was wondering if they measure how many people actually might see the little house?


For the ultra famous carnaval in Brazil, the ad agency developed Kiss mask in magazines. In the festival the people wear different kind of mask, so this strategy is ideal for this kind of events


What better way to advertise a skydive than an elevator, showing a beatiful landscape under your feet. Some people might freak out while they are in the elevator but the core purpose is acomplish . Like it Like it

This instalation is part of the BTL strategy by BBDO. This was allocated in several taxis in New York. In one of the late post of this blog, we saw the strategy in the supermarket. I think is amazing how they are showing the core attribute of the product. Hope you like it


The most horrible designs for a company. If you are not a graphic designer you shouldnt consider of offering your services. There is no doubt which one is worst the client or the designer. If i ask for the help of a designer i would have something in my mind, i wouldnt accept any of those ofr my firm


Damn , i was surfing in the net and i saw this video that scared me the shit out of me. Apparently is a Microsoft viral video running in youtube. The video is focus in how the sustentability of ecology and future will play together. It really scared me, technology is moving really fast, and the video shows us a scary near future.

Calvin Harris is an scotish song writer that is kicking every single dance floor.
His first album I Created Disco was released on 29 June 2007. The album contained uptempo electroclash songs that were influenced by music from the 1980s. To promote I Created Disco, Harris embarked on a tour of the UK, supporting Faithless and Groove Armada.[4][5]

The first release from the album was "Vegas" on limited edition vinyl and the first charted single released from the album was "Acceptable in the 80s", a tribute to the style and culture of the decade. The song reached the top ten on the UK singles chart, remaining on the chart for fifteen weeks.[6] "The Girls" was the album's second single, it reached the top 5 in the UK singles chart. The fourth release from the album was "Merrymaking at My Place" which reached #43 in the UK chart.

As you can see , the brands are seeing a real deal into indie music. Some of them are doing concerts all over the world, other ones are associating the brands with rock bands.
In this case ADIDAS created a total secret show really interesting, the concert was with the british duo The ting tings. The brand distributed white clotes from their new collectionat the beginning of the show . In a whole white enviroment, the people where aiming to paint themselves with paint guns while the band was playing. The result , see the video its really funny


Satchi&Satchiin Jakarta, Indonesia , has taken advertising to a whole new level. The interaction with the public is really important in order to be succesfull.
Viewed from the upper levels, the people walking on the ad look disgustingly flea-like, and the scene elicits constant reactions that sound something like “yikes!” The team behind this effective promo included Chief Creative Officer Andy Greenaway, Executive Creative Director Juhi Kalia and Art Directors Aryanto Salim and Joel Clement.


You know fellas im always showing you the best things around advertising. This time im showing you one of the top agencies in the world. Ogilvy & Mather’s Guangzhou has been selected as the third annual China´s most succesful Design Award 2008
The responsable for this Circus Desing is M Moser Asscoiates, Ogilvy office is the first interior design project to recieve this award. Aiming to offer a different eviroment that inspires creativity.


When i first saw this ad i tought it was one of the best commercials i´ve ever seen . Now after seeing it like 10 times , i still say its one of the best commercials i´ve seen. The ad was made for one of the top agencies right now, im talking about DROGA5. The agency is based in New York and its own by the Ex Creative Director of Publicis New York

Creatives in ad agencies are always looking for a different way to sell things outs. The difficult part is not developed a whole 360 campaing, the difficult part of doing a great campaign is to work the things out with the client´s budget and the other is to sell that thing to the client, to convince them that the idea is going work. In this case we have a good idea with a brilliant execution.
Somethimes the idea has to traduce into a good execution , otherwise it wouldnt work.
Believe or not , this guy was sit one day long, as you can see it catched a lot of attention by the public


This is kind of late but i just needed to bring this up. The killers is one of the most famous rockbands in the world. Since the beginning , their first album is considered one of the best albums of the century, the second one consolidate their career . But this third one just make me want to cry, pretty bad to be honest.
Coachella is considering The killers as a huge headliner for this 2009 event.
The main reason i wanted to make this post is because the killers did an act at VMA Europe 2008 really similar or the same to the one of Etienne Crécy. He is a french artist with a huge and stellar performance , actually the critics have named one of the best act lives. Now we have the huge opportunity to this french rebelion in Mexico city, this weekend at MX beat.

For the opennning of the new store of Diesel in 5th avenue in NY, they had a serious dinner with personalities of TV, unknown wackos and press. The dinner was served at 8pm and every dinner plate have a name on it, like certain topic. As you can see, thses strategy generated a lot of word of mouth for the people that was walking by. EVen in the news was mentioned


Another Mexican advertising desing. This time is turn fo one of the best art directors here in BBDO Mexico. This work was maided when he was ad DDB. The client is Dormimundo, who sells beds and confortabilities for houses, but the main product is pillows and bed. The creative idea is awesome, the print highlights the confort of doing the whole kamasutra in your own cousy bed. No place is better to fuck than your bed!!


Im very proud of this post, this prints are concerned with one of the most famous museums in Mexico City. The advertising agency that developed this prints is Draft FCB. The art direction is really amazing, for this kind of print you need two things, money and time. Well Done


Clinic is one of my favorite bands of all times. Actually they are playing today in MExico city to be part of a local indie festival. Another bands who are playing are, helio sequence , los campesinos,etc.

Kings of Convenience is an indie folk-pop duo from Bergen, Norway. Consisting of Erlend Øye and Eirik Glambek Bøe, the musical group is known for their delicate tunes, calming voices, and intricately subtle guitar melodies. Both Øye and Bøe sing in their tracks, and both of them compose.


Several people have too many different styles around the world. We are openning a new section here at my blog. Che Guevara
Ernesto “Che” Guevara is an Argentine Marxist revolutionary fighting for the rights of people. Part one of the movie involves the 26th of July Movement in which Che participated alongside Fidel Castro in 1959 to overthrow the Fulgencio Batista government of Cuba.
The movie shifts from Mexico to Cuba, it is presented in a matter-of-fact way. People can see Guevara and his men combating with government troops on their way to victory over the American-backed dictator Batista.
Guevara became man an legend for most of South America, his impressive personal traits as bravery and brilliantness were dedicated to his cause and was an icon among revolutionaries. Benicio Del Toro, just as handsome and charismatic actor as Guevara plays him onscreen.
Thanks to Guevara, the poor weren’t quit as poor and a corrupt regime was toppled, but in its place came a dictatorship. Fifty years after the so-called liberation, there has been no free election in Cuba.
It is always great to see filmmakers to make more independent projects. Steven Soderberg has taken the "one for them, one for me" concept of film-director politics to an almost comically programmatic extreme.
This movies shows that they can make something that will appeal to the mainstream but also that they can divert their talent toward something that they can put more thought and personal investment into.
